Samsung confirmed, more or less officially, a smartphone by the name of I9295 Galaxy S4 Active. Now there are some leaks online of what the device looks like.
The pics of the Galaxy S4 Active, which are displayed , show a phone that is enveloped in a chassis that is painted a bright hue of red. From the looks of it, the material is metal, so you won’t have to worry that you’ll drop the smartphone easily. The seal of the device includes a couple of bolts; which overall means a better tightness factor.
The Galaxy S4 I9295 Active seems to be a rugged version of the manufacturer’s S4, thanks to the fact that it’s made to resist both water and dust alike. At first, it does not look that different to the original S4 model. But then you see the main difference the moment you look at its front.
There are physical keys instead of the usual capacitive ones; and they bulge from the device’s bottom. However, one disadvantage that will jump in your eyes when looking at the leaked photos: the phone’s rear part seems very easy to remove.
But overall, the looks of the Galaxy S4 Active are pleasing to the eye; especially the device’s 4 screws located in the bottom and top corners.
The leaked pics of this new smartphone come with some benchmarks. After a quick look at them, one can see that this model may come with the following specifications: a 5-inch touchscreen with a total of 1080p of resolution, 480 ppi, a 1.9 GHz Snapdragon 600 quad-core CPU, Adreno 320 graphics processor unit and 2 GB of RAM.
GSMArena and other sources have said that the Galaxy S4 Active may be available starting from next month. Now let’s wait an see what the South Korean manufacturer has to say about these newly leaked pics. Until that happens, or not, you can still get the normal Galaxy S4 and enjoy it.
